Dixie is a 3 year old Plott Hound who was surrendered by her owners. She is housetrained and doing well with the small dog and the cat in her foster family. She would probably do best with older children due to her size. She loves to play ball and is a very smart girl. Dixie LOVES the water and wishes she could have a family that would like to take long hikes and go to the lake! Dixie has passed her Canine Good Citizen obedience test with flying colors. She is waiting in California for that family to find her.
