Our Elvira was happy to leave her job as a breeder and become a beloved companion dog. This gorgeous 4 year old Black and Tan Coonhound is petite at 50 lbs but is full of personality and loves everyone that she meets. Elvira is cratetrained and housetrained and lives nicely with several other hounds, but NO cats, please. She is a good car rider and pretty good on lead. Squirrels are her favorite things to hunt in the yard and no squirrel is safe while Elvira is on duty, so she does need a secure fence to keep her at home. While quiet in the house, she can be vocal outside if she has a squirrel treed. She sleeps through the night on her doggie bed. This fabulous hound is waiting in the Knoxville area.
