Hank is a handsome 12-18 month old Black and Tan boy waiting in the Augusta area for a new home. He is a sweet, goofy, social puppy that does wonderfully with kids, cats, other dogs, and even chickens. In good weight at about 55 lbs, Hank has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves playing with other dogs, snuggling on the couch or in bed, and keeping watch from the window. He is a vocal guy that likes to howl hello at anyone who walks by, so he would love a family who appreciates a talkative hound. Hank is cratetrained and will happily go into his crate on command, especially when treats are involved. He is doing well with housetraining, too. Hank is very food motivated, loves snacks, and is eager to learn. He is still working on leash manners and basic obedience skills like sit, stay, and lay down, but he is smart, teachable, and very eager to please.
