Happy is an 8 month old female waiting in Iowa for her forever home after being surrendered to a Missouri kill shelter with her littermates. Her name is a perfect fit for her happy-go-lucky personality. She is always the first to greet people at the door and gives great coonie kisses. She is very playful and always instigates play and chase games in the back yard. Happy may be too playful for really small children, but does fine with the 9 year old child in her foster home. She also gets along well with the resident Lab. Happy would do well with a doggie playmate and a fenced yard in her forever home. Happy is great on a leash! She is completely house and kennel trained. Her playful nature is still there, she likes to nibble on you while playing. Happy has also learned "Sit" and is doing fantastic with "Down". She has earned the nickname "Snoop" in her foster home as she is sooooo curious about everything! She is also pretty smart, she was the first to pick up on "Sit" and to learn the leash manners.
