This handsome 2 year old Black and Tan Coonhound boy was found stray in a hickory forest and is now safe in his central Indiana foster home. He weighs about 60 pounds and the consensus is that poor nutrition as a growing puppy may have caused his front legs to bow. His foster mom reports that his physical condition does not seem to bother him in any way and she says it certainly does not slow him down! Hickory gets along well with all of the dogs in his foster home, even the "mean girls." He seems to want nothing more than a place to call his own and a kind word and touch from anyone he meets. He is adjusting to his new routine easily and doing well with housetraining and cratetraining, too.
