This beautiful coonhound came to Rescue as a very shy girl. Now, after 2 months in her foster home, Honey Bun is thriving and ready for a forever family to call her own. She is 2-3 years old and now warms up quickly and has settled nicely into the pack at her foster home. Honey Bun sleeps quietly in her crate (which she considers her safety zone) or dog bed at night and loves to go for walks and play with all the other coonies in her foster home. She especially loves to ride in the car and take a snooze. She loves all dogs and is indifferent about the cats. Her primary goals every day are: going for a walk, getting fed, playing with the other dogs, chewing deer antlers, helping foster mom in the kitchen (lotsa good smells in there) and sleeping and dreaming! Honey Bun is a laid back kind of girl that is very happy to take a walk in the morning, but also loves her quiet time. She is waiting in central Virginia.
