Ground Control to the planet Earth, meet Luna and her crew of Celestial Explorers. Luna, a young Treeing Walker Coonhound, brought this crew of 9 coonhound beauties (five males and four females) into the world on May 28, a few days after being rescued from a one-way mission. As fate would have it, Luna and her crew were given a second chance for exciting new adventures and brave explorations of this vast universe, or at least somewhere within the northern hemisphere. All are currently assigned to ground control in Kansas City, MO where they are completing their pre-launch checklist, including love and affection, appropriate pack socialization, reproductive alterations, and proper vaccinations, just in time for their new assignments.
