Hugo is a 3-4 year old male who was picked up as a stray and is now safely in foster care in California. He has a laid-back personality, is a love sponge with people and loves to be petted. He is fine with older children, but doesn't realize his own size around very small children (he weighs about 75 lbs). He tries very hard to please and wants to know what is expected of him. He knows "sit" and comes when called. Hugo gets along fine with other dogs, but is too interested in cats or really tiny dogs to peacefully co-exist with one. He enjoys the dog park and doggie day care where does well with all of the dogs and people. Hugo rides well in the car, too. Hugo loves chew toys and will entertain himself with an antler; he likes to lay with the other coonhounds in his foster home and companionably chew on toys or lay quietly on the floor next to his foster mom's desk. Hugo likes to wrestle, play tug-of-war with the other coonhound in his foster home when it's play time. Cratetrained and housetrained, asks to go outside when needed.
