Hello,
It is me, Emma, here to wish everyone two and four legs Happy Holidays. I will be having a birthday on 12/24/12. I will be 9 years old or maybe 9 years young. Yes, that it. There are all kinds of decorations going on. What do you think? In honor of my birthday? Well, I think I will take that to mean we are having a party for my birthday. I do like a party. Good food. Oh yes I love a party.

Duffy and I are very busy playing and just having fun. So what do you think of our photos?. Do you think we might be a fill-in for Santa's reindeers, if he needs us? Mom think we are soooo cute and Dad said Oh boy. Well, got to go. We are going for a walk and thats always fun . Happy Holidays to all and may every pup no matter what age on the rescue list find a home and soon. Oh and Happy Birthday to me.

Hello it is me Emma,

So it’s spring up here. The pair of American Bald Eagles on the lake have babies, the Wild Turkeys have babies, the swans have babies. You get the picture. There are very, very big turtles up here. The biggest one I ever saw. They are looking for a place to lay their eggs. Mom said they are Snapping Turtles & we have to stay away from them. The snapper has one nasty strong bite. Mom & Dad help the small turtles across the road but the snapper, well we will stop traffic but no way are we giving them a lift.

Duffy (the beagle) & I play all the time. Duffy is a little thief so I have to correct him all the time. Duffy steals toys but I tell him that is not fair in my wonderful coonhound voice & you all know what that sounds like. Other than Duffy being a thief, he is great little guy. Of course he would be, he is a hound.,P. Well take care & thanks for all you do for us hounds. We would not make it without you.

Hi my name is Emma Genevieve,

I am 8 years old. I grew up in Virginia with a loving family and they named me. Now I am in retirement in Orange County, New York. So most retirees move south, I moved north. I think I always dance to a different drummer. So now in this northern home there is a Mom, Dad and, of all things, a beagle named Duffy. Duffy, who is 4 years old this month, is a cute little guy but don’t tell him I said so. So my Northern family keeps in touch with my Southern family. Boy I am blessed to have two families who love me.
