We have renamed him Samson and he is adjusting well to his new home. He and our other B&T hound, Elvis, are getting to know each other, no bones allowed without supervision. They love to wrestle and play tug of war with each other and think our house is the Indy 500 while chasing each other. Samson has learned the cats have sharp things that hurt and they don't want to play with him. He is not fond of the kennel and sleeps with us at night( although he is growing quickly and this will need to stop soon as he is a bed hog). Now the kids in the neighborhood come over to ask if both Elvis and Samson can play. We are still working on house training, it is cold here and he is not fond of that so I am hoping that if it ever warms up here that I can start leaving the back door open for them to come and go as they wish. He can now get on the couch and that is where he likes to sleep. He pulls the throws I have off the back so he can snuggle in them and between him and Elvis the pillows are always in disarray.
In the few weeks he has been with us it is now hard to see our lives without him. He is very much part of our family now.
