Fancy Pants is now going by the name Pearl (AKA - "Black Pearl," from the Pirates of the Caribbean). It seems to work well since it rhymes with girl and she responds well to that. She's been running since Sunday, and you were right. She gets very excited! She's been the best girl. She was a little wary in North Carolina at first. I think because there weren't any dog smells. She relaxed after a day or two, but was still standoffish with my dad and grandpa. I was worried she was going to be scared of Jeff, my partner. But when she got here, she seemed to know it was home. So, when Jeff and Duke (the big red coonie/bloodhound) got home last night, she went right out and greeted them with much wagging.

Pearl likes to enjoy the breezes on the porch pillows. I think she is a Florida dog at heart. She loves sand! She digs and digs and sticks her face in the sand all the way to her ears. Then she goes to another spot and does the same thing.
