We love Bertha, too! This 5-6 year old Bluetick girl showed up stray at her soon-to-be foster home in the Houston area and is now ready for her new home. She loves people and spends her days running and playing with the children and other dogs, large and small, in her foster home. In good weight at 103 pounds (but thinks she's a lap dog), Bertha is not shy about asking for ear rubs from strangers. She is fine with horses and won’t even chase chickens; she may sniff the cats but otherwise leaves them alone. Bertha likes to hang out in the house with her foster family, is reliably housetrained and has earned free run of the house when left alone. She is doing great with leashtraining and enjoys walking in the park.
