Ivy is a 1-2 year old Treeing Walker girl waiting for her new home. Ivy and her sister were confiscated from a deplorable situation in which they chained outside without shelter or provisions in the desert. Despite this, Ivy is a remarkable girl with confidence and intelligence to spare. She is outgoing and gets along with her 8 foster siblings with a wide range of ages and temperaments. She is untested with cats, and she loves to tree lizards and birds. She is housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door and eats and sleeps in a crate without issue. Ivy is still a puppy at heart so she would do best with some basic obedience training and an active lifestyle. She rides great in a car so she would make a great hiking or camping partner.
