"Julia, Julia, morning moon, touch me
So I sing a song of love, Julia

When I cannot sing my heart
I can only speak my mind, Julia

Julia, sleeping sand, silent cloud, touch me
So I sing a song of love, Julia
Hum hum hum...calls me
So I sing a song of love for Julia, Julia, Julia"
~ John Lennon and Paul McCartney

The name "Julia" is a Latin name that means Downy, Soft, and also Youthful. And those three words most definitely describe this incredible 12-18 month old girl. She will bring joy and light to your home with her amazing personality. Julia is friendly, patient and very loving. Great with kids, she never jumps or lunges, only bows and waits for them to approach her. After living outside for most of her life, Julia has adjusted to life indoors with ease and has free run of the house and never needs to be crated. She never had one potty accident and seemed to know what to leave alone. With the exception of stealing a few hand towels off the bathroom sink, she seems to know what belongs to her. She walks well on a leash and she knows all the leash commands like "wait", "stop" and, of course, "go". When Julia is outside she likes to move at a fast pace almost like she is prancing. She would be a great running companion but also likes to walk and take in all the scents that are around her. When Julia is inside, she likes to play with her toys or just snuggle on the couch. She happiest in the evenings when she has a soft blanket and a lap to lay her head on. Even though she would be happy to have you all to herself, this girl is one who would enjoy a playmate. She is great with other dogs and really enjoys play time with her canine buddies. NO cats, please. Julia sleeps quietly all night and is even quiet in the mornings until she knows that you are awake. She loves to ride in the car, follow her people around the house and keep an eye on them, and bay, ever so deeply, at the sirens passing by. What a wonderful addition we think Julia would make to your home. You can't go wrong with her. Julia is being fostered in Tennessee.
