Jukebox Rocksie is as sweet and playful as they come. This 1 to 2 year old TreeingWalker Coonhound has a very sweet and charming demeanor. She enjoys giving many little coonie kisses all the while her tail never stops wagging. Rocksie is very playful and likes to play with toys with her people and she absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Rocksie would do great in a home with another dog that is willing to play with her in her ''rough and tumble" style play. She likes to get down into little play bows and play chase. Rocksie isn't an overly vocal coonhound but she does like to let out a few long bays at her doggie companions to get them to play with her. Besides her puppy-like play, Rocksie is a sweet and affectionate girl with her humans and enjoys ear scratches, belly rubs, and a good snuggle. When she isn't with her humans or doggie companions she can be found enjoying her Kong that she likes to bounce off the floor and chase or chewing on her raw hide or hard bones. Rocksie is very interested in the resident cat at her foster home so her foster mom suggests that she not be placed in a home with cats unless the cat is very dog savvy. Rocksie doesn't appear to want to hurt the cat, more than likely just play with her, but she can be a little too overwhelming in her excitement to live peacefully with a cat in her forever home. Rocksie is reliably housetrained and crat trained. She rides well in a car and walks well on a leash. Rocksie also does well off a leash with a training collar and whistle so she has enjoyed many walks through the woods and fields with her foster family. Because Rocksie is still very puppy-like in her play, she may be a little too energetic for a household with very small children but she would love to have older children to run and play with. Rocksie is waiting in Central Pennsylvania to find her forever family.
