Kalliope's name means "beautiful voice" and he certainly has one. This B&T beauty is approximately 2 years old. He is a very gentle boy who loves affection. He gets along very well with his canine foster brothers and adores children. Kalliope's hobbies include playing with stuffed raccoons, mallards, and anything that squeaks, exploring (look with your nose), and romping with his fellow friends. Like a true hound dog, he has mastered relaxation and is happy to sprawl out in a soft spot for afternoon snooze. He is catching on quickly to housetraining and is crate trained. He is getting used to the new "city sights and sounds" around him in his Pennsylvania foster home. He has some pounds to put on, but with his hearty appetite he is making progress.
