Kevin is a handsome 2-3 year old American English Coonhound waiting near Worcester for his new home; he was pulled from a kill shelter on his last day after being picked up as a stray. He is a goofy boy with giant ears that are so soft and he loves everyone he meets. He is great with children aged 10+ years. Kevin thinks he is a 60 lb lap dog and can frequently be found cuddled up on the couch with his human or the resident coonhounds, especially if belly rubs are involved. He does very well with other dogs and enjoys playing with his fellow coonhounds; he would thrive in a new home with a doggie playmate. He has shown no signs of food, toy or treat aggression. NO cats, please. Kevin is cratetrained and housetrained and working on leash walking. He also rides well in the car. Kevin loves being outside and a fenced yard would be a bonus for him; he enjoys treeing squirrels and barking up trees after them but is not interested in escaping or fence climbing.
