Mr. Diego Blue is a goofy gentleman waiting in the Huntsville area for a new home after wandering up to his soon-to-be foster home. This stunning 2 year old Bluetick Coonhound with perfect eyeliner is as sweet as they come. Weighing about 60 lbs, he is the perfect size for big adventures and cozy couch cuddles alike. Whether it is riding shotgun on a car ride (his favorite spot), romping around outside, or curling up for snuggles, he is happiest when he is with his people and dog friends. This boy has the playful, goofy and affectionate personality that coonhound lovers can truly appreciate. He is very social and friendly with people; his motto is "the more, the merrier." Because of his energy level and size, he is best suited for a home with older children.

Mr. Diego Blue is housetrained and cratetrained, knows a few basic commands, and is a quick learner that is very treat motivated. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and would be happiest in a new home with at least one doggie playmate. He has also proven to be respectful around livestock like sheep, goats, chickens, and ducks. He has not been cat-tested. He is not as vocal as most hounds but can be chatty when he is asking for playtime. He likes wading in water and loves to play with other dogs but also knows how to relax and lounge inside when the fun is done.
