We had to put Cooper down this afternoon. He had been diagnosed with a tick borne disease a couple of weeks ago. The right side of his heart became enlarged and surrounded by fluid. His liver was also found to be enlarged. The vet drained his belly on two separate occasions of blood and fluid. We did everything we could for him but in the end there was just too many problems and he was beyond uncomfortable.
