It is so difficult to write this but we wanted to let you know that Hobie passed away March 1st with stage 3 kidney disease. We tried to extend his life by making him a homemade kidney friendly diet and giving him as much love and joy as possible. He enjoyed his walks more than anything, so I made sure he got a good one every day. He also loved playing with Daisy until he no longer had the energy.

Hobie was one of the best dogs we have ever had. We miss him so much! He was a great cuddler, too! Hobie was only 3 1/2 years old, and we had him for a very short 18 months. As painful as this experience has been I would not change adopting him for anything. He was a great dog, and he brought us so much fun and love.
