"Love isn't a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like struggle.
To love someone is to strive to accept them the way he or she is, right here and now."
~ The World According to Fred Rogers: Important Things to Remember

Our Mr. Rogers collapsed in the arms of a hiker when found him in the North Georgia mountains and was taken directly to an ER vet; it seemed he had lived on grass and berries for at least a month in the wilderness. Rescue accepted him and nursed him back to health and he has given love in return. Mr. Rogers is approximately 7-8 years old and in good weight at 75 lbs. He is kind to children, other dogs and loves all humans, but no cats please. He doesn't jump up on people or get on the furniture. He is crate trained and also trustworthy on house training. His foster parents leave him in their office at night and while they are away and he snoozes on the doggie beds in the floor with no issues. Mr. Rogers is not a particularly vocal hound so he is a nice neighbor! If you want a big, gentle, loving hound, then Mr. Rogers is waiting for you in northwest Georgia.
