AB&TC MEMORIAL - MAGNUM

It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing you to let you know that on December 19, 2013, Magnum (formerly Alfred) left to go to the Rainbow Bridge. I adopted Magnum in May of 2003 and for 10 1/2 years he was a sweet, loving, affectionate dog. He never met anyone that he didn't like. He got along with all the other animals that I have had through the years. His playful demeanor was always shown outside where he loved to spend the spring, summer and fall days. He particularly loved to lay or sit in the late afternoon sun, often being reluctant to come inside if it was nice day or evening. He would spend his inside time on the couch next to me or even jumping up in my lap as I sat in my recliner. He would also love to lie down next to me as I would go to bed at night. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better or sweeter companion for the past 10 1/2 years. Unfortunately, I noticed him starting to show signs of age and slowing down this past summer. However, it wasn't age that got him, he came down with a tumor in his nasal cavity. It hit fast and very hard. And despite him showing signs of his youthful self, especially when outside, the decision had to be made to say good-bye. As I sit here, re-calling my memories of my Magnum, fresh tears are falling. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it possible for me to share the past 10 1/2 years with such a sweet, loving and loyal creature. The emptiness in my heart is matched by the emptiness that is in the house without him. He will be missed. Magnum, I will love you always and I will see you at the Rainbow Bridge someday in the future. I know you are there now with all of my other beloved pets who have left this earth.
