Otis is a 1 1/2 year old Bluetick Coonhound waiting in south central Wisconsin for a new home after being found stray. He is a floppy, derpy, goofy, sweet and affectionate boy that just wants to hang out with his humans, soaking up as much love as possible. He is an active and athletic boy in good weight at 70 lbs that loves children; he would do best living with school-aged kiddos due to his size and puppy energy. Otis is housetrained, cratetrained, walks nicely on a leash (LOVES going for walks), and rides politely in the car. He is not an overly talkative guy, but when he does sing the song of his people, he has a deep, beautiful bay. Otis loves stuffy toys and will tote them out into the yard and toss them to himself. He has no interest in tennis balls and has told his foster mom to "stop trying to make fetch happen". He enjoys settling in with a nice bully stick or long-lasting chew to entertain himself. Otis would love to live in a home with another playful dog of similar (or larger) size; he plays too hard for small dogs. NO cats, please. As with any young dog, he would enjoy ongoing obedience training and he is a very quick learner, especially when treats are involved.
