Sawyer is a handsome 10-12 month old Bluetick boy waiting in the DFW area for a new home after being abandoned in a congested part of Fort Worth after his owner was turned away from the shelter due to overcrowding. He was rescued by bystanders and is now safe in his foster home. Sawyer has proven to be an affectionate and social hound with an outgoing personality. Underweight at 52 lbs, he loves people and other dogs and is fine with cats. Sawyer is housetrained and naps in his crate. He loves to go for walks and car rides and would thrive with an adopter who will make him part of the family.
