AB&TC AVAILABLE DOGS - TAYLOR SWIFT

Taylor Swift's life could definitely be the subject of a sad country-western song. This 2 year old girl started out life as a hunting dog, living in a barn. About a year ago she knocked over the heater and started the straw on fire and suffered burns to her back. Then she was bred with a Walker and whelped a litter of pups on September 27, 2009. Her owner was on his way to jail so he was going to take her out and shoot her and drown the puppies. A friend intervened and took the little family to the local humane society.

Taylor is very friendly and social with people and LOVES attention. Good with children. Her ideal weight will be about 50 lbs. She is now in foster care in Wisconsin and settling in well. She is cratetrained, housetrained and has nice house manners. She is adjusting to house life and loves to curl up on her blankets and seems to really be enjoying being part of a family. Taylor gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home. She corrects easily and is very eager to please, very smart and picks up on things quickly. She would be an excellent candidate for an invisible fence. Taylor is looking for a forever home to give her as much love back as she gives them and she has a LOT of love to give.
