Teddy Bear is an appropriate name for this amazingly loving and sweet girl who will be moving to a foster home in New Jersey while she waits for her new home. This 1 year old girl came to her foster home with no house manners at all, and in two short weeks she has learned "sit" and "down", "crate" for when it's bed time and is almost completely housebroken! Teddy Bear is an energetic girl who loves to run and play as much as she can, but she will gladly curl up on the couch with you and snuggle for some quiet time, too. She has been wonderful with other dogs, Ruby our coonie girl we adopted from your rescue last year and our two Rottweiler boys. They all love to play together in the back yard, and Teddy Bear is too funny chasing them baying away in her awesome coonhound voice. In addition to being appropriate with other dogs, Dallas has shown that she loves children as well. We have four children in her foster home ranging in age from 11 to four and she is great with all of them. She takes toys and treats very well from them and is learning that mouthing is not ok. In the evenings she will climb up on the couch with our son and snuggle in for some ear strokes until she falls asleep. All in all she is an amazing dog that anyone would be very lucky to call their forever friend!
