Winnie is a beautiful, petite 1 year old Redbone girl waiting in Knoxville to bring joy into her forever home. She truly is a little entertainer; she is one of those dogs that puts a smile on her foster mom’s face every single day! Winnie weighs about 30 lbs and stands 19” at her shoulders. Winnie is cratetrained and housetrained and is making great strides with leashwalking and overall house manners. She gets along well with all of the dogs in the foster home. She adores zooming in the backyard; her favorite zoom involves plowing through the piles of fallen leaves with complete bliss while the other hounds chase her! She also enjoys curling up in a perfect little coonie ball for nap time with her foster family. She is a big fan of snuggling to get warm and ear rubs, too! Winnie has not been cat tested. Winnie does not challenge the chain link fence. Due to Winnie’s less than perfect past, she is timid and needs time to warm up to strangers. She develops trust more quickly with women than men. Winnie’s ideal home will be with someone who is willing to be patient and give her time to bloom; it has been very rewarding to see her gain so much confidence in the foster home and watch her amazing personality start to show.
