Ellie is a sweet, loving coonhound who is being fostered in Maryland. She is about 5 years of age and very mellow and laid-back; she does equally well with children of all ages and elderly family members. Ellie loves to have her ears rubbed and be given pets. She gets along well with other dogs and is best friends with the 3 cats in her foster home. Ellie walks well on a leash and does not jump up on people. She is reliably housetrained and has learned to nudge the bells hanging from the door handle when she needs to go outside.
